Jamie Mahoney

Welcome!

Welcome to my own little piece of the Internet!

This site was created to act as a portfolio of work that I have been involved in in the past, a snapshot of work that I'm currently involved in and somewhat of a preview into work that I may be involved in, in the future. You'll also find a repository of code snippets and applications that I have written, which you are free to use, with relevant acknowledgements, of course! I'm also starting to keep a blog, which you will hopefully find interesting!

As for me, I'm currently a student at the University of Lincoln, studying towards an MComp degree in Computing. In terms of the units I've studied, I have covered a multitude of topics, including Software Engineering, Web Design, the underlying principles of computer hardware and lots more! I currently have programming experience in Visual Basic, C#, Javascript and PHP with some experience in other languages, including C++, C, F# and Prolog. Whilst studying at university I have developed somewhat of an interest in software development methodologies, particularly in terms of how exisitng methodologies can be improved, in order to deliver quality, working systems on time, on budget and to specification; more about that in my blog!

For a glimpse at some of the work that I have been involved in, please feel free to browse the Code Repository and Portfolio sections of the site.

If you have any questions, queries or are interested in having an application or website developed, please feel free to get in contact.
